How are default conversions credited in reports and channels?

How does Google Analytics determine which conversion goes where and where do the default conversions get credited?

Channels are credited according to the roles they play in conversions, that is, how often they assisted or completed sales and conversions.
Login to your Analytics Account - Rightside menu click on Conversions, then Goals, the Overview - This will give you a full view of your conversion rate and in here there's all the information you could ask for.
